How to get there?

Of course, the most convenient route to the reserve starts from the village of Novinki Begichevo, where the Novinki Park recreation center is located in the immediate vicinity. So, the reserve is only 15 km from the starting point.

If you travel by car, drive in the coordoinates of the reserve in the GPS-navigator or Google Maps - 54.912127, 37.573287.

• If you are not afraid of a distance of 15 km, then Novinki Park staff can arrange bike rental. Here you can also follow GPS or the following route: Novosti Begichevo - Sarakseevo - Kostino (in front of the road to Kostino, turn left) - Serpukhov-13 - Danki. 200 meters after crossing the river. Drying will turn right with the sign “Reserve”.
• It can also be reached by public transport. From the village of Novinki Begichevo to Serpukhov there is a bus number 24. Pass 17 stops to the “Red Bridge” stop, and then make a change to buses No. 31 or No. 41. There is also a minibus number 25 to the town of Danki from Serpukhov.

What to see along the way?

For those who chose the path through Serpukhov, good news. You will find yourself in an old city with many interesting locations. First of all, we recommend that you touch history - visit the Monastery of 1374 and the temple of the Old Believers of the 19th century. There is also a convent located in 1360.

What to do in the reserve?

The territory of the reserve is huge - as much as 3 hectares. It has an amazingly beautiful forest, where 143 species of birds and 57 species of mammals live. It is worth noting that access to the territory is possible only with a guide.

As a rule, 1.5-2 hours are reserved for the tour. During this time, you will not only learn details about the majestic animals, but also come across them face to face. It is noteworthy that bison that live here are not in cages, but in their natural environment. The spectacle is really impressive.

Tourists are recommend to visit the park in the morning. At this time, there are practically no people on the territory and luck may smile at you - to see a whole family of bison on a walk or swimming. Some also advise visiting the reserve in winter. In winter, bison are as close to the main road as possible - they are at arm's length from you.

The park also houses a museum with stuffed animals and all the representatives of animals and birds living in the reserve.
